Looking for Costa Rican Spore Syringes? You’ve come to the right place! This variety was originally labeled as an unknown landslide mushroom from Costa Rica. It was found at roughly 1200ft elevation in the foothills of Arenal Volcano, Costa Rica. 

Microscopy Features

Dark purple to brownish spores, 12-13 by 8 micrometers on 4-spored basidia, usually leaves large dark prints 30-75mm in diameter.
