We understand and respect the importance of maintaining your privacy and keeping your information confidential. We will only collect information from you when you have knowingly provided it to us, such as subscribing to our newsletter. All information collected is used solely for the purpose of processing orders or to inform our e-mail subscribers and customer of special offers. We will not sell, share or rent any personal information with any other companies or third parties without your authorization.
Security
The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number) on our order forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).
We follow accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
If you have any questions about security on our website, email us!
Credit Card Information
For safety we do not store your credit card information. It does have to be saved however in case you need a refund or to change your order. When entered on our secured payment page your credit card number is sent through Authorize.net (or PayPal), verified, and your order is processed. Authorize.net is the leading provider of secure online transaction services. They store your credit card information managed by a team of security professionals. During the checkout process look for the https (the “s” added on to the normal http) – this tells you a webpage is secure. We also use a third party shipping provider to ship the products ordered on the site.
Ordering
During the order process, you will have to provide financial information such as your credit card number, expiration date, money order, wire transfer or check information. This information is used for billing purposes and to fulfill your order. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this contact information to get in touch with you. To properly process your credit card information, we must share your personal and financial information with the merchant bank for authorization and approval. This process is protected by an enhanced security system. See the Security section below for more details on security measures and procedures. We do not share your personal and financial information with any third parties.
